Overview This Privacy Policy explains how Illuminate This Media, LLC (“we,” “us,” “Developer”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Ollibo mobile application (“App”).

1. Local-First Data Practice (Default) Local Storage Only: By default, the App stores your inputs (financial data, goals, notes, calculation results) only on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit this personal data off your device unless you explicitly opt in to a cloud or sync feature. No Account Required: No email, phone number, username, or other identifiers are required to use core App functionality.
2. Data Collected (and when) Local-only (no upload by default): financial inputs, budgeting items, goals, notes, in‑App preferences, and calculation results. Device & diagnostic data (opt-in): anonymized crash reports and analytics if you opt in (may include OS version, device model, anonymized usage metrics). Cloud/Account data: only collected and transmitted if you explicitly enable cloud backup or account features; consent and disclosure will be required beforehand.
3. How We Use Data Local-only data is used solely to provide App functionality on your device. With explicit opt-in we may use uploaded data to provide sync/backup or cross-device access. Diagnostic data (opt-in) is used to improve App stability and features and will be anonymized where feasible.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties Default: No sharing of your personal financial data. With opt-in: we may share data with service providers necessary to provide cloud features (hosting, backup). We do not sell personal information. Third-party Advertising: The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, operated by Google LLC. We do not share your personal financial information, name, or contact details with Google or any advertiser. Google AdMob may independently collect device-level information — such as device identifiers, diagnostic data, and app performance metrics — to serve ads and measure ad performance. This data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You may opt out of personalized advertising on your Android device by going to Settings → Google → Ads and enabling “Opt out of Ads Personalization.”
5. Analytics & Crash Reporting (Opt-in) If you opt in, we may collect anonymized diagnostic information. Retention for opt-in analytics/crash logs: up to 180 days, then aggregated or deleted.
6. Retention Local data: retained on-device until you delete it, uninstall the App, or use the App’s delete/export feature. Opt-in diagnostics/analytics: retained up to 180 days. Cloud backup (if enabled): retained as described in the cloud feature’s consent screen; you may request deletion per the Contact section.
7. Data Security Local encryption: sensitive data stored on-device is encrypted where device OS support permits. Use device passcode/biometrics to protect access. Transmission: if you enable cloud features, data in transit will use HTTPS/TLS and backups will be encrypted at rest. No absolute guarantee: we use reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights Access & deletion: If you have uploaded data via a cloud/account feature, you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability by contacting ddemasters@gmail.com. For local-only users, deletion is performed locally (uninstalling the App or using the App’s delete function removes data from your device). Opt-out: You can opt out of analytics/crash reporting in App settings at any time.
9. Children The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
10. International Transfers If you enable cloud features and your data is processed outside your country, we will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
11. Payments and Financial Data The App does not process payments directly. Purchases (e.g., in-app purchases) are handled by the platform (Google Play) or an approved payment processor; we do not store raw payment card data.
12. Auto-Backup Note (mobile OS) Some devices or OS-level backups (iCloud or Android Auto Backup) may back up App files to the user’s cloud account. If you rely on strict local-only storage, be aware that OS-level backups could include App files unless you configure device backup settings. The App will include a notice informing users about OS-level backups and how to disable them if desired.
13. Changes to Policy We will post changes here and update the Effective Date. Material changes will be communicated where feasible.
